Oppo has decided to launch a new service with the intention of assisting users facing battery-related issues. According to leaks, in the upcoming days, Oppo will kickstart a battery replacement campaign, extending the general warranty for batteries in their new models from two years to four years.
Free replacement rights within four years!
Today, leaks coming from Digital Chat Station shed light on Oppo’s new campaign. According to the leaks, Oppo will provide a four-year free battery replacement service following the sale of a new device. Within this period, users with deteriorating batteries can go and replace their batteries free of charge. However, according to WHYLAB, this service will be provided free of charge if the battery health drops below 80%. Even with this condition, it is evident that it is more beneficial than the two-year free replacement offered by other companies.
The first model to benefit from this campaign will be the Oppo A2 Pro!
Oppo‘s soon-to-be-released smartphone, the Oppo A2 Pro, will be the first model to take advantage of this campaign. This means that when you purchase the Oppo A2 Pro, your two-year general warranty will remain intact, and at the same time, if you encounter any battery issues within four years, you will be able to replace the battery free of charge. Speaking of the A2 Pro, let’s also take a look at the features of the device set to be unveiled soon.
According to leaks, the Oppo A2 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Dimensity 7050 chipset and offer support for up to 12GB of RAM. On the storage front, there will be multiple options, with capacities going up to 512GB.
In terms of battery, the A2 Pro will draw power from a 5000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. On the rear, it will sport a 64-megapixel primary camera along with a 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies, there will be an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The device will run on Android 13-based ColorOS 13.
